Mankato Marathon Charities Program

Feeding Our Communities Partners (FOCP) has a mission to engage our community in solving youth hunger. We envision a community where hunger is not a barrier to success and believe feeding hungry students allows for active minds during the school day.

Camp Sweet Life‘s mission is to connect, empower and transform kids and young adults affected by type one diabetes.

Mankato Youth Place is committed to providing a nurturing environment that empowers youth to build the confidence, knowledge and skills needed to reach their full potential.

In 2024, the Mankato Marathon is striving to give back to the community that has so generously supported our races. New for 2024, three chosen 501(c)(3) charities will be provided a promo code to market through their organization. For each registration using the specific code, $10 will be donated back to that specific charity. In addition, these programs have the potential to raise additional dollars through registrations. Registrants will be able to elect to donate to any of the programs when they register for a Mankato Marathon race.

In 2013, the Mankato Marathon started the Charities Program as a way to give back to the community that has generously supported its races. The program is meant to be a platform for the five charities to fundraise for its cause. In 2019, the Charities Program helped selected charities raise nearly $25,000.
