In 2010, the inaugural Mankato Marathon took Mankato by storm. We had overwhelming community support and an amazing 2,200 runners in our first year. In 2011 our numbers grew to nearly 4,000 runners from 30 states and our race started to evolve with unique additions like our Cheer Zones and the Sport Psych Team – the first in the nation.
We want to keep this momentum growing. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for great sponsors like you to help support this incredible event. Scheels and New Balance Sport and Health Expo Booth
As a supplier and partner in the running industry, the Mankato Marathon will be the perfect opportunity for your company to gain exposure to a target audience. The Scheels and New Balance Sport and Health Expo is a free event and open to the public. Check in and registration for all runners is located in the expo. It has something for anyone with an interest in sports and fitness products, running gear, health and nutritional products, recreational activities, and service organizations. If you are an exhibitor you will get priority expo exhibitor placement rights next year. Booths are first-come, first-serve. Space is limited!

Cheer Team

Race Bag Insert
The Mankato Marathon Race Bag is an excellent way to get information in the hands of potential customers. It is extremely cost effective too! The Mankato Marathon will stuff approximately 5,000 race bags and will distribute them to all registered marathoners, relay marathoners, half marathoners, and 10K participants. Runners look forward to getting the race bags and enjoy going through all the items inside. Items could include a flyer, coupon or product sample.
