Greater Mankato Conventions and Visitors Bureau invites you to be part of the Scheels Sport and Health Expo on Friday October 22, 2010 at the Verizon Wireless Civic Center in Mankato, Minnesota. The Scheels Sport and Health Expo will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. All marathon and half marathon race participants must attend the expo to pick up their race materials.
The Scheels Sport and Health Expo will provide an opportunity to take advantage of free preventive health checks and screenings by the caring professionals from local health providers.
In addition, the evening of the Expo there will be the opportunity to listen to experts in the running field. Please check back to see who will be attending.

We are currently putting together a tasty program that will give you a lot of options on pasta, atmosphere and location so you are guaranteed to find something convenient and delicious! Watch for a listing of our restaurant partners and their Marathon Pasta Specials. In addition to wonderful eats, you will be treated to YMCA greeters at the door and a little fun just as a special welcome. A percentage of the proceeds from the evening’s specials will go to the Mankato Family YMCA for youth development. A delectable treat for our local youth!

Promote your Business at the Sport &Health Expo
The free event will help promote your organization to nearly 2,000 runners, their families, friends, and the general public. The Expo offers something for runners and non-runners alike - take time to explore various booths covering sports and fitness products, running gear, health and nutritional products, recreational activities, and service organizations. There will also be the opportunity to purchase Mankato Marathon apparel.
