Important Information

The Mankato Family YMCA KidsK is an athletic event not to be missed. The KidsK is open to all youth. Kids can come early and get their face painted, hair colored and they can do a craft. Kids can also get involved in some fun warm up exercises. Young participants will run under the official marathon gantry just like the adults on Sunday’s run. This is a fun run. A clock will be at the finish line, but times will not be recorded.


Packet Pick-up and Registration (if the race is not full):

11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sport & Health Expo in the Myers Field House at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Race Start Time:

2:15 p.m. Pre-race line up and YMCA warm-up activity
2:45 p.m. Race begins for kids ages 7 to 12
3 p.m. Race begins for kids ages 6 and under

Race Goodies

All runners will receive a KidsK medal and t-shirt.

Volunteer Sign Up

Nearly 1,000 volunteers are needed for Mankato Marathon to make the weekend run smoothly for our runners. There are many ways to volunteer including course marshal, bicycle medical support and race bag stuffing.
