Mankato Marathon 2015 Charity Program
In 2013 the Mankato Marathon started the Charities Program and raised over $17,000 for local charities and over $20,000 in 2014. In 2015 in an effort to build this program to involve more charities and more runners, we have added a fifth charity. This year’s charities include the YWCA Girls on the Run, Project for Teens, Camp Sweet Life Adventures, YMCA Livestrong & Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota.
Here is how it works:
- Each qualifying charity would be allowed up to four charity runners for the full or half marathon.
- Each charity runner chosen would be required to fund raise a minimum of $500.
- Charities will also raise money via registration.
